United Kingdom – Luke Jekyll, who grew up listening to Rock & Soul music on his Dad’s vinyl player has always been interested in the different elements that make up a song, trying to break the status quo by using everyday sounds within his production. His love for commercial music & how its simple hooks are digested by the listen run through everything he touches.

The 25-year-old from Surrey, England has written, produced & played with artists such as Dani Sylvia, Carys Selvey, Katie Kittermaster, and Mutya Buena, and has just announced a 12-show UK tour with Cassa Jackson.

Speaking on his process, Luke said:

“I’ve always loved the way chords and melody complement each other in such unique yet familiar ways. The writing process always starts with chord progressions before toplines and instrumentation come around. A good song can work in any genre, so we always start with non-invasive instruments before we pick out a production route.”

After years of writing and playing for other people, Luke decided to start producer & DJ duo, FADES with his writing partner & brother Nick. The two are on their 4th single introducing a new featured vocalist across each track that pairs deep dark house grooves with euphoric pop-led vocals. They’re currently based out of Donut Studios, Surrey.
